LDAP Basics
| SK11 | LDAP Basics | A half-day hands-on course that covers basic LDAP concepts from the ground up: data structures, LDAP operations, servers and clients. Hands-on exercises allow the student to explore a simple LDAP server and to walk through an authentication process. |
This course can be delivered face-to-face on your own site or online with a live instructor and cloud-based workshop environment. It is also now available as an open-source set of material for LDAP-knowledgeable instructors to use and adapt.
OpenLDAP Workshop
| SK08 | OpenLDAP Workshop | A 3-day hands-on course that covers OpenLDAP system design and management in detail: everything you need to know to administer OpenLDAP installations up to a few million entries. |

We can tailor on-site LDAP courses to your exact requirements, from basics through schema design to access-control design and service design.
Hands-on courses are normally based on OpenLDAP, but can be tailored for other servers if you prefer.

OpenLDAP for Linux Admins
| SK07 | OpenLDAP Workshop for Linux Admins | In this 3-hour tutorial you will learn the basics of LDAP, build a resilient LDAP infrastructure, load it with user-account data, and configure Linux to use it for logins with NSS and PAM. |
This workshop was first presented at the LOADays conference in Antwerp and is updated occasionally to reflect changes in Linux technology. It can be run on-site or as a remote-teacher class using Skype and cloud servers.
