Doog - line-mode Directory User Interface

Doog is a line-mode DUA for Unix systems. Features include:

User-Friendly Name (UFN) searching
Progress reporting
Interruptable searches
Command-line operation for one-shot searches

Caveats and general limitations

This is a read-only interface.

ISODE/QUIPU (version 8.0 or higher)

Availability

Sources are freely available for commercial or non-commercial use. Binaries for SunOs 4.1.3 and Solaris 2.3 (5.5MB) are also available from Brunel, to simplify installation on sites that do not already use ISODE.
