Zenoss - Mysql/Innodb - ibdata1 is huge

Hello,

Seeking advice on how tackle this issue while having minimum downtime. Zenoss 4.2.5 and it is only used for SNMP trap handling. Looking online, it seem the DB export and import is the way to regain the space in case of InnoDB.  Never done that before.  I think the DB configuration have to be changed to not end up in this situation again.
Please advise.

Sam,

The Zenoss toolbox has a tool that might be of use: zencheckdbstats

The link above has some steps you can walk through that might help tune things and bring that size down without forcing too much downtime.
