HTML Links within events, presented on the events screen

I cannot get Zenoss to parse HTML <a href="https://google.com">Google</a> in an event field in anyway.

I have the "Enable HyperLinks in Event Fields" setting enabled under the Advanced --> Settings --> UI area.

I have tried using transforms and I have tried using custom properties to set the URL then calling it within a command datasource too. Nothing seems to be working.

I can get the hyperlink to work when its part of the evt.message but not the evt.summary, however evt.summary isnt useful as when you move your mouse to go to the link the message then disappears as its "hover on" only.

I can get hyperlinks to work when you double click an event, but this isnt what I am looking for. Looking for hyperlinks at the top level view on the events page so when an event comes in someone can click it and be taken outside of zenoss to our document repo.

Is this possible what I am trying to do? I can see that other types of hyperlinks i.e the component column work fine so I dont understand what I am doing incorrectly.

Thanks
Matt

Just to add, zenoss is displaying the full HTML code and not the actual "Click Here..." text I mentioned above

Matt,

Which version of Zenoss Core are you testing this on?
