Zenoss 6 Control Center backup as export/import

I'm wondering if Control Center's backup functionality can be used for export/import (do a completely different host for example)

Theoretically it should, however, it seems that the backup would contain host/ip configuration.
If so, is there any way to re-configure this once restored?

OK, so it worked.
My question is now whether or not there are any caveats I should watch out for if I'm doing this often or something or any situations where this might not work (I'm only ever working on one physical machine)
