I need to re phrase this question. What I am trying to achieve here is to track all the websites being accessed by the staff within the work network more or less like a web monitoring tool.

Some proxy servers and/or firewalls can forward all requests via syslog, and of course a Zenoss system can receive that stream and store it as events. However, there's no specific function designed to aggregate and organize the information by website (Who is visiting amazon.com) or employee (What websites did Bob visit) in the Zenoss system. You could add alerts for specific sites (don't forget the dotted quad version) with transforms and trigger/notifications.

Hi Kent,
Thanks for the reply. Do we have to configure anything in Zenoss to receive these syslogs or does it show up automatically in events?

Hi Kent,
Another thing is that I am trying to get this Zenoss core up and running for quite sometime but have been having few issues. The setup works fine but with a few hiccups. For example I have been receiving snmp up and down messages from all these network devices. They has been modelled successfully but due to this SNMP going down in between I am not able to get regular updates. Is there any settings that I need to check from our side? So if I am not able to get all this rectified we will not be able to get the commercial version. It would be great to have someone help us with all these minor issues to get it evaluated.
