Hi Team,

In our environment, We are not supposed to use Admin privileged user to monitor WIndows VMs using winrm.

So we want as per the documentation "Configuring Windows Server for Monitoring via WinRM" to have a least privileged user

We got the script from the following location "https://github.com/zenoss/microsoft.tools/blob/develop/lpu/zenoss-lpu.ps1"

  1. In the script, it has a banner:

#  DO NOT RUN THE DCOM PERMISSIONS PORTION OF THIS SCRIPT WHEN THE CERTIFICATE          #

#       AUTHORITY ROLE IS PRESENT IN ACTIVE DIRECTORY

We have a CA  in our domain, what does this mean then…?

Please help
