Zenoss 5.2.4 Notification issues

Hello all,

with previous versions (4.2.x) were able to work nicely with notification mail based on triggers for specific devices/event class but now with 5.2.x I'm having troubles.

More in detail: I monitor windows file systems (/server/Microsoft/windows) and I want to send a message when storage reach 95% usage.
The trigger and notification are configured as per attached images.

Even if I have filtered the device class and severity,  I receive mail for every device/every severity occuring on the dashboard instead of the filtered ones.

I missed something?

Your trigger is setup to alert on ALL systems that are in PRODUCTION that match ANY of the following conditions: 

Device Class is /Server/Microsoft/Windows
OR
Event Class is /Perf/Filesystem
OR
Event severity >= Warning

These should ALL be included and matched for the trigger to work as you expect.

Hello!

thanks for the answer, actually the trigger setup was wrong,
I didn't get the desired alerts because I was not aware that zenoss data collecting (for file systems) were broken.
After a reboot everything is working.
