I've had a difficult time with Zenoss 5.2.1. My latest issue is with looking at the Properties page of a device in Zope. I get an error with the following message:
IIRC at the end of the upgrade SOMETHING is updated related topreMWProductionState. Is there a fix to this

The rule of thumb: NEVER UPGRADE ZENOSS/ZENPACKS UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE TO.
You better do a clean, manual installation of the newest version 5.2.2.
