Is there a way to monitor MySQL on linux based servers (Ubuntu 12.04 in this case) without changing the listening IP from 127.0.01 to the actual server's IP address I've seen other posts in the forums that indicate the fix for mysql being grayed out as a "monitored" service is to change this configuration to the true IP of the server, however in this case I need to work around a legacy configuration for production/public web servers and changing the IP from 127.0.0.1 to the server IP breaks the site. I'm just looking for Zenoss to basically do a up/down check the mysql is running...nothing more.
