Hi All,

I hope you guys can help me out.

I'm trying to connect our zenoss 5.1.7 to AD to authenticate users. Im using this guidehttp://wiki.zenoss.org/Enabling_LDAP_Authentication_in_Zenoss_Core_5

I was able to install all packages and all went well untilstep 5 "After the Backup has been created, select "roleManager" in the right frame"

After i click on rolemanager im presented a zenoss login page and no matter which user I try Icannot get passed tat login page. I know that i have to login with the admin user, but this also does not seem to work.

Has anyone been able to make this work and authenticate users with AD

All help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Jcurry,

Thanks for creating the ticket. I was able to add the zennon role by going to acl-user-> cookieauthhelper

How do i login on Jira

After configuring everything I still cannot login using aa AD user

The ticket has been updated with a reference to another ticket that is not publicly viewable and a workaround that is only available to customers - not Core users!  I have fed-back appropriately and raised it directly with Zenoss.
