Zenoss 5.1.4 Core .. .CentOS 7.2
Zenoss 5.1.4 Cannot login as a user to Control Center after Installation
I updated /etc/default/serviced to use the SERVICE_ADMIN_GROUP=serviced
I created a login and added that login to serviced group.
The problem I encounter are two parts)
I also tried to configure 2 LDAP logins. These logins work where I can login to the OS using a password but I cannot connect to Control Center with it. (Error Username/Password is invalid)
Two questions:
Help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

This is a known issue currently. Sometimes login fails if the user is a member of non-existent group. However the workaround is to create a group with the missing id

Subject: | Resolution - Update PAM password-auth and system-auth configs |

Created local OS account.
Updated PAM password-auth and system-auth configuration files.
pam.unix.so must be allowed to be read first before LDAP.
Update both files to use ->
auth sufficient pam_unix.so shadow nullok
password sufficient pam_unix.so shadow nullok
