I used the script at https://github.com/monitoringartist/zenoss5-core-autodeploy to successfully install control center. When I go the "Applications" section there is zenoss.core (v5.08) instance listed. I clicked on "start" and the status switches to "starting service", and it's been stuck like that for ~20 minutes now. /var/log/serviced/* doesn't have anything in there that would indicate a problem. Does the service just take forever to start, or is there something else i'm missing The machine has 48 gigs of ram, and 24 cpu cores, so I doubt it's a hardware issue.

Just to add to this, I keep seeing this come up in /var/log/messages:

Nov 23 17:07:36 localhost serviced: I1123 22:07:36.800876 26274 daemon.go:516] Trying to discover my pool...

I'm running centos7 BTW

I figured it out. The install script had set the default host ip to localhost.localdomain. I deleted the default host and re-added using the ip address.
