New install of Zenoss I've got a couple of issues

I setup a Zenoss server in AWS, well someone else did most of the heavy lifting, I used a Zenoss AMI that has Zenoss 4.2.5 on Bastion Linux. It works great, there are a few differences but nothing to difficult. However I found two issues with this AMI I haven't been able to get around. First, within the Dashboard under "Advanced > Settings>settings" If I try to make a change there and save I get a Site error: "An error was encountered while publishing this resource. The requested resource does not exist.". I think this might be a permissions issue but I haven't figured out what is causing it. The second issue I'm having is whenever I need to put in the password to make a system change on the dashboard it fails. I know this password is correct because it's what I'm using to log in, however it does't work for changing system settings. Again I've been unable to track down the cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
