You may need to point it to the IP address of the box itself, and ensure postfix or similar is running.

yes but you're not doing that in Docker. You'd have to attach to docker and test it, and I can pretty well guarantee it won't work. Point it at the routeable (even if RFC 1918) IP.

Anyone found out how to configure postfix on the main server which allow zenoss inside the docker instance to send mail trough the local postfix server

I am unable to get this working, been trying several things.

Anyone able to paste their main.cf Or let me know other changes that should be done to make zenoss inside the docker instance check the local postfix server outside the docker instance
