Hello Zenoss Forum,
i am new to Zenoss and i am trying to Monitor some MsSQL-Database-Servers. I got one Database on a Windows Server 2k12 R2 x64. Installed is an Ms SQL-Server 2k12. The Monitoring Template i use is the standard MsSQLServer- Template. I configured the zWin and zSNMP Configuration as i need and the Zenoss System monitors the CPU and Memory correctly. But i can't get any data for the MS SQL-Graphs. Any Idea which configurations i have to make
For troubleshooting I also tried monitoring a Windows Server 2008 R2. Here i configured the zWin user and the zSNMP configurations. I also added a JSON connection string in the "zDBinstances". Zenoss gets events from the Server but the Graphs don't show data. "User-connections" gives only "0" back, while the "MSSQLData Size" Graph doesn't even give back any data.
Connection String:
[{"instance": "MSSQLSERVER", "user": "sa", "passwd": "***"}]
What steps i have to take to get the Graphs to show any data and which "Modeler Plugins" do i have to use
Do i have to make any configuraion for the MsSQL Server
If you need more Information please ask.
Thanks for answers and replys!
Mathy
