Trying to add some HTTP monitoring (monitoring templates area of device), and it's showing the error in subject when trying to use drop down menu which says "SNMP" by default. No idea what's wrong, as it's a brand new install of 4.2.5
Any help appreciated.

UI errors can be caused by cached data. I'd start by clearing your cache. IF that doesn't fix it, with UI errors it's hard to debug without pictures, would you either screengrab or record this error so that I can see it Thanks!

Couldn't get those commands to run on command line, and not sure I'll have time to sort through why, or how to run them, but I see this in the web interface:

Understood.
Is there anything else helpful in the logs that'd help us to proceed further, or do we need that info
I'm just really at a loss here. Was able to add one threshold definition, for CPU above 80%, for example, and would basically like to add a few more - one for RAM above 90%, for example.

Some ZenPack is not very healthy.
Add custom exception handling into RRDTemplate.py.
Code formatting is a painful here, so concept: http://pastebin.com/BjAh7TNF
Then you will see which ZenPack has a problem in log file. Anyway, keep also original version of RRDTemplate.py.

And don't forget to restart your Zenoss.
I have had similar issue, because I didn't restart Zenoss after installing new Zenpack. I wasted a day with this problem.

Just a quick follow up, I know it's been "A LONG TIME" on this thread since I've visited.
First, thank you again everyone for the follow up posts!
I gave the python mod a try, and perhaps didn't do it "just right" as I got no good relevant info, but DID find a zenpack that was funky - ZenPacks.community.mib_browser
Once I (FINALLY) got that fixed, I was able to finally get the drop down menu to function again :D
Now, to actually tune this thing further!
