Subject: | Threshold for custom graph definition |

Hi All,
I'm strugling with an issue connected to threshold for graphs made by custom graph definition. This graph is related to multiple data point and I would like to be able to generate events based on defined threshold. I found exactly same issue here: http://devarthur.blogspot.com/2008/04/custom-zenoss-graph-based-on-multiple.html
Last point states about limitations in terms of thresholding.
Would be very appreciated if someone could confirm that or provide some ideas for solution.
Current version I'm using is 4.2.5
Many thanks in advance.
Regards, Andrzej

You can't define thresholds based on definitions set on your custom RRD graph settings. You'd need to created a new datasource. You can use the "Calculated Performance" Zenpack (open source) to create such datasource and then create the threshold based on it. You can then include the respective threshold to your custom graph definition (I generally create a normal graph using the UI and then get the graph definition of that to include on my custom graphs).
Hope this helps.
