Zenoss 4.3.5 - Process monitoring per device class

I have configured a series of process and process sets which are working fine in our Zenoss 4.2.5 build. But what Ii cannot seem to workout or find any information for in the Admin guide is how to restrict the processes to a device class.

I don't want to monitor the availability of the process on every host, only on the hosts that require it. Our hosts are grouped into device classes.

I would normally expect to do this throughmonitoring templates, as I would for everything else but for some reason it is different with processes and services. Can anyone offer any advice on how this works
