Many of us have created a script to run the zenmodeler through cron at a set time of day.
Yesterday I noticed that there is now a "startat" parameter for zenmodeler.conf that requires a cron format. Not sure when this came in but i am now at 4.2.5 SUP 671.
I cannot find any information as to how to use this. What is the relationship between cycletime, the "new" startat parameter, the now parameter and where is sleep time configured -initialHubTimeout
I found https://jira.zenoss.com/browse/ZEN-4051 that suggests that startat was originally donated by a customer but the request for documentation as to how to use it and with what combinations of other paramaeters - was closed 18 months back as "Won't fix"!!!
Anyone using it
Zenoss - if you are going to ship this feature, it needs documenting!
