I would like to be able to access, via JSON, an attribute that indicates an event entry which the user has selected. This would make it possible, for instance, to select just the user selected events via a query.
I have looked at JSON event information and I don't see anything that appears to be indicating this at this time.
Is anyone familar enough with the API to say whether or not this functionality is available

Within the Zenoss event console, each event appears on a separate line. When one clicks on one of these separate lines, the line changes colors. That line is "selected". Once selected, the user should be able to initiate actions against the information in that alert.

I think you already posted this question several times.
This would be handled by adding a new button, then using js and a custom router/facade to do what you wanted.
