I need to display all Clear Events on event Console. I knowZenoss feature to avoid making Clear events on Event Console that have not any active events (with same fingerprint: device, component, event Key,Event Class).

Is there any way todeactivatethis feature, so that Event Console display all clear Events but that does not happen for ainadvertently cleared of a wider variety of events.

Jmorcar,

It's possible to display clear events by checking off 'Clear' in the Severity dropdown filter and 'Cleared' and'Closed' from the Status dropdown filter.

Yes I know that procedure to display the clear events that are registered on Event Console. I refer when Zenoss does not register (I believe drop)Clear events that have not aevent active atleastwith severity > 0 , same eventclass , ..., same fingerprint. For my tests zenossbydefault drop the clear events (not showing nowhere)if the fingerprint key is not compliance with similar critical events based on their fingerprint. SorryIt's difficult to explain it, but it's rare for methat amonitoring application doesnot register / logabsolutly all Clear events by deault.

Jmorcar,

Oh I know what you're looking for I think. Most of the performance daemons will only send one clear message. In the past I'd acctually asked for this same option. In each perf daemon config addallowduplicateclears = True. This will force the daemon to send a clear event for every test that is successful. I'm not totally certain if they'll stack (count up) in the event console, you'll have to give it a shot to see.

Let me know how it turns out. :)

Take care!
