Hello,
I've been trying to get my Zenoss 5 instanceto monitor a Fedora 23 workstation using the /Server/SSH/Linux device class, but keepgetting timeouts when modeling. Myzencommand properties are allconfigured correctly, and Icanmanuallyssh to the Fedora workstation from the zencommand and zenmodelercontainers. Iwas really confused why modeling kept timing out,but now Ithink I've figured out the problem, and am hoping someone here might know how to fix it.
Doing a packet capture, I think the problem is that Fedora 23 is running openssh 7.1 server, and Zenoss is using ssh-2.0-twisted client, and there must be some compatibility issue between the two. I found when I manuallyssh from the containers, I am also using openssh, so that's why it's working there. To fix the issue, I'm assuming I just need to edit my /etc/ssh/sshd_config file in Fedora, but I'm not really sure what to change in it Anyone seen this issue before/know how to fix it
Thanks!
Kevin

You didn't post exact error message. So maybe it's a UsePrivilegeSeparation problem http://www.zenoss.org/forum/10136
Devops Monitoring Expert advice:
Dockerize/automate/monitor all the things.
DevOps stack:
Docker / Kubernetes / Mesos / Zabbix / Zenoss / Grafana / Puppet / Ansible / Vagrant / Terraform /
Elasticsearch

Thanks, Jan. I just tried commenting out "UsePrivilegeSeparation sandbox" and setting zshConcurrentSessions to 1, but still no luck.
The error I get is "WARNING zen.ZenModeler: Client fedora23.test timeout."
Here's some output from my pcaps. You can see them trying to negotiate an ssh session, Fedora running openssh, and Zenoss running twisted ssh.
