I would like to change the frequency that my servers are modeled. I found an article on how to do it in 4.2.x here:
https://support.zenoss.com/hc/en-us/articles/203032935-How-To-Change-The-Frequency-of-Modelling
This does not seem to be the correct course of action though. I want to do this because my servers keep disappearing in my network map, only reappearing after they have been modeled yet again. Can anyone help

That article ought to work if you are on a 3.x or a 4.x.
Easier still, you might just change the zenmodeler cycle time from ADVANCED -> Collectors -> localhost change Modeler Cycle Interval. The default is 720 mins ie 12 hours.
Beware if you have a large estate modeled by Zenoss, then you may be imposing a large load on the system.
Using a script run by cron (as per the article) may give you more flexibility as you then can choose subsets of your estate to model on-demand - run "zenmodeler help" to see the different options.
Cheers,
Jane

I am running 5.0.9, so like I said, this article does not apply. Also there is no path on Zenoss Core 5 that is ADVANCED -> Collectors -> localhost.
Anyone that knows how to do this, it would be strongly appreciated!
