Hi We are using zenoss5. Every time when aws autoscaling terminates instances , then we get zenoss alert for instance down state, then we have to manually ack the event & close it. Is there any parameter or feature in zenoss or automatic way to ack alert or not trigger event in case of instances terminated by autoscaling

I would suggest using a Transform to drop the event.http://wiki.zenoss.org/Event_Transforms_and_Examples
