Hi,

Been using Core 5.0.7 on RedHat 7.2, 32 GB RAM, 6 vCPU's. Used the autodeploy-script to test Zenoss as a Proof of Concept. In the last 2 weeks, it has crashed 2 times - no contact to CC or Zenoss Core itself - had to reboot server (still a newbie regarding Zenoss start/stop commands etc.). When 1st crash happened I monitored 2 windows hosts + 1 linux host (and ping'ed 120). When 2nd crash happened I monitored 2 windows hosts and 1 linux host (and ping'ed 693 hosts).

How do I provide with any useful info for troubleshooting Which logs do I look into, where do I start Bare in mind that I am totally new to Zenoss.

Regards,

Carl.

Well, v5 is a new beast for most of us, but start by looking in the Advanced tab of the WebGUI, Daemons, and look at the various daemon log files. Then again, it sounds like the issue might be at the docker level, so you may want to actually reach out to docker folks (we're not docker experts here, and Zenoss hasn't modified it) to see if they have logs etc you could look at for losing IP connectivity to containers.
