Where is the python objects

I'm starting to delve into event transformations. i'm looking at the event examples and I see there are python objects containing attributes (device.hw, evt.component, etc). I'm trying to figure out what objects, attributes, and events are available and what each attribute represents but I cant find this documented. Can someone point me in the right direction Thanks.
