Hey ZenOss Community,
i got an ZenOss 5.0 Server. I want to get SNMP informations from a cisco asa 5505. The asa can't be ping'ed - therefore i cant get snmp-informations. Is there any way to work around
zPingMonitorIgnore set on true - but doesn't help it.
Any suggestions or solutions

If i try snmpwalk i get a timeout although i can reach the network

this is not a Zenoss issue, but a configuration issue, or intermediary firewall issue between you and the ASA. If 'snmpwalk' doesn't work, Zenoss won't see the data either.
