Subject: | Creating custom User Commands |

Hi,
There are default commands such as ping, snmpwalk, traceroute. I have seen snapshots of more advanced commands such as Cisco "show log" which returns the logs, and "1 hour maintenance mode". They are created by combining shell commands and TALES expressions, but I am not familiar with either of these. Is there a reference, or better explanation of how to create these awesome custom User Commands Thanks for the help!

I would suggest referring to http://wiki.zenoss.org, as it might be of some help, and asking on #zenoss on irc.freenode.net. If you would, please reply with relevant links/answers so that people who find this thread via google can use them.
Thanks!
