We have had a few problems with PosKeyErrors on Zenoss Core 4.2.5, but most of them have been fixed now, however when I run zodbscan then I get a lot of these errors in the logfile:

2015-06-24 11:09:31,104 CRITICAL zodbscan: DANGLING REFERENCE (POSKeyError) FOUND:
PATH: zport/dmd/IPv6Networks/2001..878..3a4..../ipaddresses/2001..878..3a4..92....1
TYPE:
OID: 0x002a52cd '\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00*R\xcd' 2773709
Refers to a missing object:
NAME: None
TYPE:
OID: 0x002a52ef '\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00*R\xef' 2773743

When I navigate to Infrastructure/Networks, I get an error, so I believe that it is actually caused by something that isn't good in zodb...

Anyone knows how to fix these

Thomas

take a look in /Network delete the networks and remodel everything in /Network (this can be done via CLI with zenmodeler)
you probably also have catalog issues, use findposkeyerror in zenoss.toolbox as well. Once you've fixed the PKE's, use zencatalogscan to ensure the catalog is good.

I strongly recommend installing the latest ZenUp patches after you fix this as well for 4.2.5. It's over a year old.
