it cleared immediately after alert, but i do not see it in event console. localhost is not even monitored so i am not sure where these come from. thanks for any info!

This is an internal zenoss alert. Try increasing your zenhub workers in $ZENHOME/etc/zenhub.conf

Hi Andrew, thanks for the tip! I wonder how I go about doing that in zenoss 5 (in zenoss 4 I can find it easily, but not sure where the file is or what services I need to reload/restart in zenoss 5, nor do I know how to persist the change).

you should be able to bump zenhub workers in the control center. Go to zenhub, edit the service add more workers.
