Subject: | Device maintenance not changing production state |

I create a maintenance schedule for a device. I was expecting that once the maintenance window was reached, it would change the production state from production to maintenance and display as such on the porlet in the dashboard automatically. The purpose of the automation was to create windows of scheduled maintenance for IE patching and display on dashboard so that techs are aware maintenance is being performed without the manual intervention of changing the devices production state. Seems counter productive to have a schedule for maintenance when you need to change the production state manually. Perhaps I am misunderstanding. Thoughts
