I would like to know in zenoss 5, how do I go about doing the following step and make sure it persists across host reboots
Download check_mysql_slave.py and place in $ZENHOME/libexec
as mentioned in say: http://community.zenoss.org/docs/DOC-2484
I searched the admin guide for zenoss 5 without finding anything (at least not directly)
thanks!

I wouldn't recommend this in Zenoss 5.
I will suggest a workaround. Create a skeleton ZenPack, and export it. Add that script in Zenpack.whatever.mysqlslave/zenpack/whatever/mysqlslave/libexec, and create the template, then add the template to the ZenPack. This should then be easy to import/maintain in Zenoss 5 with a proper ZenPack. You can reference the Dev Guide: http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack_Development_Guide for more.
