I have a remote device, and almost daily it will fail at least one ping check. How can I set this one device to wait for 2-3 failed attempts before alerting. It's part of my default alertign rule set and I would prefer to leave it that way if possible.

So if you go to Advanced -> Collectors and go to the details for a collector you can set the "Ping Tries" to be something other than the default. This will apply to all devices for that collector.

You can also take that specific device and create a Trigger (in the Events console) for the event for /Status/Ping. If you set Count to 3 (three failures), it will require multiple failed pings before generating a Notification.
