Subject: | Windows WMI Monitoring - Ignore Services |

We have a few machines on our network that we have had issues monitoring with WMI. Windows performance counters work, but sometimes WMI queries will randomly throw errors.
I'd like to continue to monitor these devices, just not the Windows services. My assumption is that I just need to remove the WinServiceMap from the Modeling Plugins list, and then delete all services on these devices. I just wanted to check in to see if there is anything else I should do. I would like to continue monitoring drive space, CPU, etc, just not whether or not Windows services are running.
Thanks in advance.

rather than changing the modeling disable monitoring of the services you don't care about (all)

I was thinking of removing the WinService modeling so that when Zenoss does the daily (or twice daily, I forget the interval), re-model of a device, it wouldn't re-check for services.
