Hello!
I have there are more than 2,5 thousands devices in our Zenoss instance (4.2.4). It's consists of master-collector (8CPU, 32GB RAM), few collectors (6 CPU 16GB RAM), remote DB (8 CPU 32GB RAM) and LDAP integration. After additional 100 devices performance of web gui degrese. Every menu opened very slow, more than 2 minutes. More than 50 users used Zenoss in our company.
How I can troubleshoot this problem and detect bottel neck
P.S: All advices by Zenoss Wiki performance tuning page was done early for thousands devices, but it not helping now.
Thankyou!

If it's UI performance, it's likely the issue is on the master. I'd take a look at adding Zenhub workers, looking at output from zenhub.log Z2.log and anything else that might be throwing a fit. You're likely hitting a hardware/resource limitation somewhere, though I think you realize this.
I would be remiss if I didn't point out that you are approaching the end of what Core will scale to without serious engineering efforts, or contract work, and would suggest as well that you fill out the sales request form, and at least explore your options with regard to Zenoss paid support. This is not to say that I won't do everything I can to help, I just want to make sure you're aware this option is available.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your response. Our company is thinking about contact with your sales for paid support.
I add some workers to ZenHub and Web GUI performance is better, but it is use all RAM memory available on the master server. Tell me please, if create multiple Zope on different servers and move memcached to separate servers can it helps our Zenoss to increase it's performance
Also we have big count of different events in Zenoss (total count is more than 10 millions). I think that our zeneventserver worked not very effective, may be better to recreate ZEP db Or how i can drop all events in archive or summary tables

We don't generally recommend splitting up the Zopes on core. It can be done, there is some benefit but the R&D would be extreme. With commercial we have a multizope with NGINX on the front, you may also want to consider something like Varnish in front of that to cache some of the data coming back.
You're hitting the point where you need Professional Services to assist you as these are serious changes.

Oops, didn't see that.
If the events are archived, they'll be deleted automatically based on the settings in Advanced > Settings > Events > Delete Archived Events Older Than (days). The default is 90. Raising/lowering the default will have Zenoss maintain that table for you.

Yes I know about this settings. But our zeneventserver has trouble with deleting events. I'll create new subject for this issue.
