Hi,

We have implemented Zenoss as a centralized monitoring tool, which receives snmp traps form several NMSes of different vendors. The point is that one of the systems doesn't supports snmp anymore (license restrictions), but they offered a CORBA solution.
I know very little about CORBA (and Zenoss architecture and design), so my question is, is Zenoss able to gather events via CORBA If yes, how am I supposed to make it happen Does it require any modifications or extensions

Any info will be very appreciated...

I'm not aware of any CORBA support in Zenoss, although it would be possible to implement a servant to receive information and generate zenoss events. This would not be a small undertaking, though...

this thread is few years old and seeking leads form anyone who has worked with Zenoss and CORBA in the interim.

We have a requirement to integrate with legacy system which only provides fault information in CORBA which should be possible to build taking an open source COBRA in python and combining into he Zenpack SDK.   Is there anyone out there with skills in CORBA and Zenoss?  Any advice on how to make this work?
