*Problem*
Servers are being labeled as down in the event console because the ping status is saying that it can't reach the device. If I go to the zenoss server and ping from there everything works fine. This seems to be a randomly occurring problem. What seems to happen if I watch the event console a few servers become unreachable (down) and then after about a minute it disappears. This problem just started happening recently after a server rebuild. We where having problems with the server before so we decided to do a backup and create new vm for it to live. The old server didn't seem to be doing anything like this.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Kyle

Use zencommand and run it against the device until you get the failure, it'll either point you in the right direction for a resolution, or paste the output with the failure here.
