When creating a new user command the command and password are not saved. Creation steps:

1. On the "Advanced" tab, under "Settings", then "Commands".

2. Click the "+" to "Add New Command"

3. Command ID = snmpwalk_v3

4. Complete fields:

- Description = SNMP v3 Walk

- Command = snmpwalk -${device/zSnmpVer} -l authNoPriv -a ${device/zSnmpAuthType} -x ${device/zSnmpPrivType} -A ${device/zSnmpAuthPassword} -X ${device/zSnmpPrivPassword} -u ${device/zSnmpSecurityName} ${device/snmpwalkPrefix}${here/manageIp}:${here/zSnmpPort} system

- Password = yourpassword

5. Click "Save"

Instead of saving the command and returning to the main "Advanced" screen, the system clears the fields and displays no other message. The command entry may or not be created. If the command entry is created, only the ID is displayed in the list of commands, but the command itself and password are both blank.

Make sure your user has ZenManager rights. Or try as user 'admin'.

What version of Zenoss are you using What zenup are you on

FYI, I just tried doing this in my dev instance and I could make it. Using Zenoss 4.2.5 SP150
