Hello all!

Just starting some development!
I need to display device status depending on OID value retrieved by SNMP.
The output should be a color or text:
- Value = 1 then green indicator or "OK" text
- Value = 2 then red indicator or "NOK" text
- etc

I cant find a topic about it!

I appreciate your help...

You're kind of missing how our event system works, but you can use a threshhold, and an SNMP plugin. Create a template, add the SNMP oid to the template, create an event class and map it. You should find everything you need in the Admin Guide and Extended Monitoring Guide, but if you need additional help or want to expand further, please consult the Dev Guide on wiki.zenoss.org, and attend Dev Hours on the IRC channel (There's a session later today at 4pm CST)
