| Subject: | Moving local template to device? |

I followed this guide to create a zencommand using a Nagios Plugin: http://wiki.zenoss.org/Working_With_Nagios_Plugins
Somewhere along the way I must have goofed because I've ended up with a local template on the device.
Is it possible to move that local template to \Device\NewCategory such that it is always applied to any device that goes in NewCategory
Thanks
David

I don't think you can convert a local template to being an actual Monitoring Template at the global level. Your best bet is to clone or create a template (under Advanced -> Monitoring Templates) and create it there, then assign it to the \Device\Class you want using the "details" button in the top right in the device tree UI.
