Zenoss Analytics Reports (available Fields...Custom Fields)

Is there anyway to utilize the custom fields that we create in zenoss into analytics For instance we use a field to lable Monitoring ID's. Id like to beable to add that column to a report and sort/filter on it. But i do not see any option or way to do it I opened up a spport ticket but have not gotten any info yet.
