new to Zenoss and the forums. But am trying to monitor selected app events on a WIndows server. I created a test template without a filter and all the events are captured.
After reading suppoort pages and forum posts, i decided to use XML filter to select the desired events. The XML was copied straight from the event viewer and is stored in Zenoss as:
However, the events are never reported in Zenoss.
I do see errors in the python daemon log: the message is:
ERROR zen.python ... unhandled plugin error: argument of type 'instance' is not iterable
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
