Subject: | Zenoss 4.2.0 sending empty reports |

I'm successfully receiving email from the Zenoss server when I cause a report to sent. However, the report has the column-headings, but no content whatsoever. Another Zenoss server we have (3.2.0) is working fine; and I've noticed a difference between the two. When I browse to the report on the non-working server, the content area is empty until I hit the 'generate' button. On the working server, when I click on the link for the report, the content is magically there, and the 'generate' button is an 'update' button.
Question: Do I have to do something before-hand, to cause the report to be populated first, so that there is actually data present to be sent My email contains just as much info as the report does, when I browse to it, and before I hit 'generate'. --there's no content until I hit the generate button....

I hate giving this answer, but we've fixed approximately 3500 MAJOR defects since 4.2.0. I would recommend either upgrading to 4.2.5, or setting up a 4.2.5 system in parallel to see if you can replicate the issue. If you can, it's probably a P1 bug.
