1) We are trying to monitor weblogic 12.1.x servers. via zenpack for weblogic
2) Following these docs:
http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack:Oracle_WebLogic_Server
3) What JMX protocol should we use with weblogic Remoting-JMX. or RMI orJMXMP
4) We have validated connectivity from zenoss management server to weblogic instance (112.4.33.234 via port 7733), but we get connection refused. We have tried all jmx protocols, and we have tried unauthenticated as well as authenticated :
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false
5) Here are the errors when we try to connect. Thoughts How can we troubleshoot and isolate the proble :
y': 'Error Connecting to Server ; Failed to connect to service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://112.4.33.234:7733/jmxrmi [Nested Exception: java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: 112.4.33.234;
nested exception is: \n\tjava.net.ConnectException: Connection refused] '}
