I am extremely sorry folks but Zenoss have just posted this on the IRC Zenoss:

"[16:22] Good morning folks. Just a quick update on the impending DevGuide that Jane_Curry has been working on recently for us. We are in the process of internal review on the current draft, but due to some workload issues we'll be delayed slightly. Look for updates toward the end of next week when we expect to be finishing up the internal reviews and looking forward to releasing a draft to the community for wider review!"

I have pushed back against this - I already have the current draft largely split into more manageable chunks for reviewers - but currently, they are saying they don't want "external" reviewers at least until the end of next week.

Complaints here or to your Zenoss rep :(

Jane,

Thanks for the update. The Zenoss Community desperately needs this guide published. I really think we could have worked our draft document in parallel to a review internally within Zenoss.

It is my hope that if Zenoss reviews this document they will provide a considerable number of edits to the document. If this is the case, then it is worth the wait.

The latest I have is that Zenoss is reviewing it and will release it for community review on June 30th. I have had no further comments from them for over 2 weeks now.

Please hang in there - we WILL get this out to the field.
