My understanding is it's still in the works. One of the Zenoss Masters, Shane Scott is working on it. It'll be released when it's ready.

This coming May I'll be releasing a ZenPack that provides distributed topology functionality similar to Zenoss Service Dynamics. The pack will be free of charge and allow Zenoss Core users to scale the product to the same degree as Zenoss Service Dynamics.

We are pretty new to Zenoss Core. I'm uncertain what distributed topology functionality or collectors mean.

Are these software daemons that gather metrics from a range of IP addresses

Are these daemons which watch IP traffic and create a database of relationships

Just trying to understand the system better. In the past I have been told that they are the heart of auto discovery and mapping and just trying to understand the particular functionality.
