We're new to Zenoss.
Installed on CentOS 7 per 'Zenoss Core Installation GuideRelease 5.0.x': my partner setup the server, I took over and installed the application.
Things work: we're happy. We noticed a ZenPack we'd like to use (Amazon Web Services ZenPack) and .. zenpack is in an odd place on our system. Namely ..
/var/lib/docker/btrfs/subvolumes/df4d9bbd72aaae1371c64604969ae189aa9eb3e5f986ab05938167a9896eff7e/opt/zenoss/bin/zenpack
Now when I execute ...
[root@zenoss /]# /var/lib/docker/btrfs/subvolumes/df4d9bbd72aaae1371c64604969ae189aa9eb3e5f986ab05938167a9896eff7e/opt/zenoss/bin/zenpack
ERROR: $ZENHOME is not set.
This is usually caused by executing this command as root rather than as the zenoss user. Either define $ZENHOME or run this command as a different user.
[root@zenoss /]#
Okay ... so maybe we didn't .. setup btrfs right (I'm new to btrfs) Did something funny with the setup

This was a dumb question, in hindsight. I _knew_ about docker but didn't put two and two together. After I bothered to read the manual ...
serviced service run zope zenpack
Duh on me.
