Subject: | Monitor a Specific VM via vSphere Zenpack? |

I'm looking to monitor memory usage on a specific VM that shows up as a component of a vSphere endpoint when using the vSphere zenpack. I'd like an event to be generated when memory usage goes above 80% on that particular VM only. Any suggestions for the best way to do this

Why wouldn't you just monitor the OS of that VM with the available methods snmp, winrm, etc.

Thanks for your response. This is a customer's machine, and we do not have OS level monitoring available to us as a result. We can only monitor via the vSphere zenpack.

override the threshold for that VM in the vSphere template for that VM.
navigate to the VM
select the template, adjust the threshold
