Hello,

I am running Zenos Core 4.2.5 and testing the Zenpack Microsoft.Windows 2.1.3 to monitor multiple servers with the Spanish version of the OS but I have encountered several problems associated with the names of the performance counters because they depend on the language of the operating system. Anyone know if the development team of this ZenPack is working to solve the problems that currently have this ZenPack to monitor server performance counters with language other than English.

At this time Zenoss only supports English in the UI, however the problem you're having is more serious, it seems that Microsoft internationalizes the datapoints that it returns via WinRM. This means that you will have to go into the templates and change the datasources to match what windows is exporting in your language.
Though we doubt it will work, you may find some value in changing the language for the user Zenoss is using to query WinRM to English first.

Hello, renaming the perfcounter doesn't work all the time. Perhaps I've made something wrong. But I installed the English UI language on the German installation and switched the language from the local windows user, with which I query the winrm to English. Afterwards, the perfcounter could read out and the graphs are working. Thank you for the tip.

Hi,

OS: Win2008R2 German 64 bit

I have created a user "zenmin", this user is local-admin with installed EN-GUI. Then i have changed the zWinRMUser und zWinRMPassword ... but the problem still appear. The free diskspace is not shown and there are no graphs.

Hi Alex,
do you deleted the device in zenoss and create it new and then model it the first time with the "English" User Did you wait 15min to get data Does the user have the same rights as the local admin.

Sorry, but I'm a zenoss beginner as well.

Otherwise I have to try it in my lab-environment.
